The Hainfeld pond has a size of 8.7 hectares. Fishermen can fish here on a large facility on three sides of the pond. Furthermore, there is a pond with an area of 3000 m², which serves as a sanctuary for the fish. In the fish pond there are mainly scale and mirror carp, pike, pike-perch, catfish, armur and various species of sturgeon, such as Sternhausen, Beluga, the Siberian sturgeon and the Russian sturgeon (Waxdick).
